XXX-MAS celebrates the “selfies” of pornstar, actress, dj, and artist LaSirena69 with a series of photographs where she emphasizes the mouth, which is, according to her, “the body part where every romantic and sexual interaction begins.” Debuting for the first time in print, LaSirena69’s “selfies” have been key in her trajectory, pushing the boundaries of photography and video to create a moment of intimacy through a screen. With an online audience larger than Uruguay’s entire population, LaSirena69 is an icon of our generation, and one of the most influential pornstars of our times. Through her work and words, LaSirena69 strives to dismantle taboos tied to sex, the porn industry and acting. Originally from Venezuela, LaSirena69 – Antonella Alonso – emigrated to the US at the age of twenty-four and currently resides and works in Los Angeles, USA.
